Alyonka and Diana Larionov, daughters of former Detroit Red Wings great Igor Larionov, didn’t get any ice, er, vocal time on Tuesday night’s “American Idol,” but it seems as if they’ve made it through to the show’s Hollywood round.

The singing sisters, who’ve performed the National Anthem at hockey games, popped up for a few seconds at the end of Tuesday night’s episode, during a montage of people from the auditions in Omaha, Neb., who nabbed golden tickets to Hollywood.

And on a Web site called AlyonkaandDiana.com, a biography of the Larionov sisters says they were chosen among tens of thousands of hopefuls at the auditions for “Idol” and will appear on the current season of the hit Fox TV show.

A representative for “Idol” said she couldn’t confirm the names of those pictured in the clips at the end of the show.

Rumors have been flying for a while on the Web and around metro Detroit that Alyonka, 20, and Diana, 17 — or at least one of them — made it through to the Hollywood round of “Idol.”

Their father said last year during a metro Detroit TV interview that they were auditioning in Omaha. The family is currently based in California.

The Omaha auditions drew 10,000 hopefuls and, as always, were a mix of singing and sideshow.

The first person to try out, Chris Bernheisel, delivered wretched vocals, but he did stand out by bringing stuffed animals to the judges and doing a handstand during his song.

The Hollywood round episodes are slated to air Feb. 12 and 13.
