Daughters are on TV tomorrow..... Detroit News12 February 2008Detroit transplant Alyonka Larionov -- after graduating from Birmingham Seaholm High School in 2006, she now lives in Calabasas, Calif. -- flew through her audition in Omaha, Neb., on the strength of her rendition of Whitney Houston's "Run to You." (Her sister made it through after singing "Over the Rainbow"). But both of them were relegated to fleeting glances at the end of the show, while goofy gimmick singers hogged the spotlight. "They have to show all the funny people that don't make it. It's understandable, you've gotta get your viewers somehow," Larionov said Monday. But she was hopeful going into tonight's episode: "Hopefully they'll show us a little bit more in Hollywood."
